"Hello and thank you for visiting Powell Entertainment! My name is Matt Powell, I am the DJ/Owner and Operator along side my wife, Janie Powell. I have been in the professional entertainment business for 17 years. After owning and operating my own entertainment company in Atlanta for 8 years, I was asked to join Princess Cruise Lines as a Cruise Director. I worked at sea for the next 4 years in charge of all aspects of entertainment on the ship. In 2010, I decided to move back to land and chose beautiful Pensacola then became the Entertainment Director at Seville Quarter. I spent five years in charge of 7 rooms of entertainment and DJ/Master of Ceremonies of all weddings and banquets. We started Powell Entertainment to put my wealth of entertainment knowledge to use in the city I love. Powell Entertainment is ready to provide all types of entertainment for any event!
